Men of the 303

I was going through all my Smitten records, and I came across:

Smitten 51
Rasmus vs Speaker Pimps
A: Men of the 303
B: Clean and Green

So I decided to play it at an outdoor event, where alot of people are familiar with the guys behind the 303, and it totally blew peoples minds.
Does anyone else play this record? Because at the right moment, if you mix it perfectly, the chorus really gets the crowd pumped, not to mention the kick drums... The acidlines are minimal, which isn't a bad thing, since it is a Smitten release, and they are acid trance.

Anywho, I'd like to know if more people play this record... Or if I am the only one :doh:

I can't say I agree with you there. I almost vomited when I heard the vocals on that thing... Nothing personal to the producers but what the XXXX?! Clean and Green however rocks my jocks :D

I really like everything about the track MEN OF THE 303 but I really dislike that vocal.... :cry:

It totally spoils the tune for me which is a shame coz I love everything else about it!!!!

I love Clean & Green, I love the breakbeat undertone. One of the better final few Smitten releases. Men of the 303 is a good tune, but it is slightly ruined by the vocal. I thought it was quite funny when I first heard it, but after a few plays, the vocal does tend to grate on my nerves a bit.
