how many of you use a dealy on one part or another wther it be a kick or some layerd kicks etc...in ur tracks...i feel there is some sorta of kick or delay i hear a lot in tracks..

I tend 2 use delays but only after a lpf up to 300-500 Hz!

low pass filter,
but i think ze mig meant high pass filter or low shelf eq.
ie cutting out all the low end frequencies on his delays, that way not making his mix sound overly bass heavy/muddy.

thanks that makes total sense...so after u get a cool groove going ..add a little delay..

so get ur main groove/pattern.sequence w/e going ..then add a HPF and then delay? or is that just somethign u do
