love him, but i thought he would fit more into the experimental section. hence mine being the only reply so far.

lol - oh well you can but try. Sender rocks - especially the more cut-up stuff - can tend to have some soft rythms on some stuff but the rest is killer

Got a live PA from Jake, don't remember where from though (Mutek?) Nice. Funky, rhythmical cut up beats. All good stuff!

soft aint a bad thing mate, so long as its quality techno it can go wherever it wants on a textural scale for me ;-)

He played here in February and put on a very good live show. On a small system I think the sounds are rather weak but on a huge system all that synthesis tears through the airwaves. Defintely dig his style. I have his Live PA from here in Minneapolis on CD.
