Owen has gone stale at Liverpool and he is prone to injury so maybe its not such a bad deal especailly as we have Cisse and Baros to fall back on, which Im sure most will agree is a top class strike force!

Im pissed off he's going cuz he is, along with Stevie G, our golden boy but that's the way it goes. Good luck to him I say and hopefully this will benefit both him and England.

A pisstake really! Liverpool will also get another £2m over the course of his contract at Real dependant on appearances and performance. So overall Real are gettin him for around £15m!!!!!! A bargain if you ask me.

Was talking about it with the lads in work and they said it's LFC's own fault this has happened but in all fairness they have been negotiating with Owen about a new contract for 16 months so they've hardly left it until last minute to sort it all out. I feel very let down by Owen especailly as he said a few weeks ago he would deffinately sign a new contract!!!
