I'm quite a fan of Groucho stuff. This is pretty good too. Nice percussion and they've played around with the Hennes & Cold bass line so it sounds slightly different.

There's always interesting little noises going on these tunes to carry them. They aren't massively complicated and they keep evolving the same little sounds through out the tune.

Could be critised for being to samey, but its still a tune a like.

Ground Mix

Prefer some of the sounds used in this over the first track, but its more jumpstyle which puts me right off it. Like the gabba bit though! lol... that almost makes up for the jumpstyle... but not enough for me to buy it or want to play it. It's just quite satisfying to hear that gabba bit come in! lol...

Overall

Pretty good, Stratos is the better side. Best used in building up from techno in to hardstlye (perhaps?), I would use this more for building a hardstyle set...

I liked the warped Kick & Bass used on the Groucho Label.

i'm a big fan of groucho too. they've relased some bloody amazing tracks that are so different then anybody else.

although, i dont perticularly like this one. it seems pretty formulatic and plain. i've only heard the RM, so maybe it's because I havent heard the vinyl. But, i find that it just does'nt have the *oumf* of other groucho tracks (like dcode - express train, the dominator - i don't know, mono-guru - clap your hands and ya-ya - shaker)
