Saduh started DJing professionally in the year 2000 in his hometown, Rio de Janeiro. But it was in São Paulo, only 6 months later, that he had his first big break: he was one of the 30 people selected among 500 contestants to compete at the Hypnotic rave national DJ competition, in which he was one of the 10 finalists. In that same competition some of today’s major Brazilian talents, like Nitrosound and Murphy, were also revealed.
Around that same year, he created and organized a project called Disco Inferno Afterhours, an after-hour party that quickly attracted Techno party goers from all over and became a reference after-hour party in town.
Since then, Saduh has had gigs in important clubs like Bunker, Barman Club, Funhouse, Nautillus, Matriz (Rio de Janeiro), and A Loca (São Paulo), in addition to parties, as Loud, Technolândia and The Best of Hypnotic. He has also played live on the radio show Transtronic at Transamérica FM.
Besides DJing, Saduh also produces his own tracks. One of his productions was released by the Brazilian label Pertence Recording, in its very first record where were also released tracks by Renato Bastos, Breno Ung, and the Swedish The Miller. Saduh is currently focused on producing. His music has very particular characteristics and could be described as having a Minimal style.
For him, the work to be developed by the DJ goes beyond just mixing tracks correctly. In addition to the quality of the tracks chosen, his repertoire is quite distinctive and it is result of a lot of research. As a DJ, he feels responsible for presenting new artists and unknown tracks to the public and not only playing famous artists and their hits. Saduh is a big fan of Minimal Techno produced in Europe and highly spread in Eastern Europe, where the electronic music scene has an underground atmosphere. His DJ sets are filled with tracks produced by Rumenige, Olga & Josef, DJ Boss, and Supagrupa from Slovakia; Tomash Gee from Poland; Archae & Grovskopa from Sweden; Surgeon, Regis, and James Ruskin from England; and Oscar Mulero, Reeko, and Christian Wünsch from Spain. Saduh also produces his own loops to add to his set through Final Scratch, and the result is an explosive hard, but not necessarily fast, original and extremely exciting set.
His main influences are the DJs Surgeon, Loktibrada and Oscar Mulero; and among his favorite labels are Tsunami, Warm Up, Emergence, Palicavonzvreca (PVC), Numb, Olga+Josef, Mental Disorder, Antidandruff, Downwards, and Counterbalance.
Available in Europe between september 24 and october 18.
