Does anyone know what synth Ferry Corsten used to use to make his leads? Like in 'Out Of The Blue' etc...
Cheers :)

There's a plugin called SuperWave you could try with a load of distortion on, if you back that up with the virus to add a bit of weight to the sound you can get some tasty trance leads.

im almost positive Corsten uses the Access Virus in every single one of his tracks. Ive heard a few of his songs where he literally just takes presets from the machine and runs a reverb unit on it to make it sound more thicker.
thats about it!

That's what they all do, isn't it?
 (Kidding. Well... Kinda.)
The Virus *is* a bit of a preset machine. They're all so good that you just WANT to use them. The JP8080 now, that's a just joy to program... Much, much simpler though.

i did that earlier coincidently trying to get a fat sound from software, add a little noise and youve got a powerful string sound.
i made it with 2 pro53's and a v station...although i could of programmed an equally powerful lead in 1 virus patch  , but i set myself a little challenge to do it in software
