Haven't heard that one yet but most of the stuff is great, I liked the one Sims did, I only use the first half though. Does anybody know who Pounding Grooves agent is?

A thumbs down for this one I'm afraid, wasn't into it, but mainly because I expected more from Ben Long. Speaking of Long, he doesn't release a whole lot anymore, even though he's a really top producer.

ive not heard it yet ill have to check it out.
Really cant let myself adding the collection for this one... One side sounds like Lawie's acid techno stuff without the 303... One side is like trying to break through somewhere but never got it quite right... Pass. Especially 31, 33 and 34 were just too good.
Eric.
whatever, this record is brilliant. well at least the non info side is
i didnt like it all that much either (but im still obsessed with this lable so i have the urge to get everyone that comes out) but but i played it on a loud sound system this weekend and that changed everything.
the bassline and that twisted vocal loop are really ****ing cool.
i think this is one of his best tracks lately.

PGV are all wicked imo. Not just because Lawrie constantly releases dirty techno without the added distortion from low quality production and pressing, that you see on too many European releases - especially under the heading "schranz". But also because you know he really doesn't pander to keeping the kids happy and releases what he knows are the right tracks for the squat parties and underground clubs. His contribution to the scene is huge.

I couldn't agree more. Lawrie has & still puts so much into the underground techno without any fuss & recognition. His input is amazing (on & off the vinyl).
