Bah... poor display by Newcastle. For moments they play wonderful, but they are so rocky in defence at the moment.
Kluivert DIDN'T play again this game. Why sign such a player if you don't use him? I must be hard to know who to sacrafice up front for him though. But Robson manages to bring on Ameobi!
Norwich, credit to them... they played better against Newcastle than they did against Man Utd and they earned the share of the points. David Bentley looked class. If Norwich can keep up that determination they may just stay up.
Newcastle really need to settle. It's obvious more than ever that in the last few months things have been unsettled behind the scenes. With the Woodgate sale and the Rooney bid there is so much confusion amounst the team and players they just don't seem to be in the right frame of mind to play great football for 90 mins.

sorry hakka bey, you know I cant help the geordie baiting, but if you have serious hopes of a top 4 finish then Norwich @ Home is a game you really have to be winning..... never mind the "behind the scenes" excuse, surely earning £40k a week is enough motivation to go out and play good football, and 52000 screaming geordies behind the team too ;)

Your correct in your words. It's still early days yet, but home games to the likes of Tottenham and Norwich should be wins for a side that is competing for the likes of top 4 finish. It's the away games you hope to grind out a draw or snatch a win if your lucky. Last season Newcastle only lost 5 times, that's pretty good going. But already were 2 draws and a loss. Not exactly the start I expected. I totally agree that 40K a week means things behind the scenes shouldn't effect you, but we all know that just isn't the case in football despite being very bizarre.
Bah... just can't understand why they aren't playing better at the moment.
Good result for Boro last night, 2 - 0 win over Fulham. It's games like that maximum points is needed.
