i still think he made an arse of his 'House F**ker Remix', but L & B are amazin...

BUT, just an opinio. he is no doubt a more capable dj than i'll ever be, but for me ? those 2 trax NEVER fail

hahhaha well this dave clarke remix on the fuse compilation is quite kewl, but the original is far better. one of rush's best pieces =)))

Technically he is a good dj, tune selection leaves alot to be desired tho, he used to be shit hot in 2000-01 (both production and djin) But somewhere along the way he lost the plot a bit

he was awful at gkgg(as were most of the djs) a really uninspiring set of housey loopy stuff. his mixing wasnt up to much either from what i can remember which is quite suprising as he can usually pull it off quite well.

i heard a set of his from timewarp last year the other week and the mixing is turd on that too.

yep, ive never seen him play but i know he is capable of using 4 decks. as for the FX...your right, way over the top.

I like most of his production made from 98-99. Then he stareted making stuff that i didn't like at all....even hated...(with some exceptions like potential 11 - although gatex was made back in 98...)

As for Umek, I think he's a quality producer & DJ. Ok he does go overboard on the fx (but im sure everyone with a DJM600 has found themselves doing the same thing)

I like most of his productions, Brotax is probabbly my favourite tune, but I also like most of his mumps shit & his recycled loops stuff.

Its hard to find a producer who has produced so many completly varried tunes. Some of Umeks productions work and some dont but at least hes brave enough not to stick to the same style and experiment a bit

Zeta Reticula and some stuff on Absense and early CR, and then he didnt go "Housey" but simply shite. Even the new darkish or, wutever u wanna call it, approach on new CR is very boring after a careful listening. The Borique Tribez stuff is a complete disgrace. And i havent heard a decent set by the guy in a few years.
He made a very nice move with bringing back electro nights to my local club this season tho, his electro sets have a mad tracklisting.
