Evolution UC-33e or Korg Microcontrol???

Any one have any experience of these controllers or know of any that does. Cant decide which is best for me.

Also anyone have any ideas of simalar or better controllers?

the local shop here had a microkontroler hooked up to their demo synths. it kept crashing. they said something about it not being very compatible with their computer and it would just not respond sometimes. felt kinda cheap too. id opt for something else

I had a lot of fun jamming with Live using a UC-33e...
Been thinking of getting one myself.

i own both,

i find the midi response on the korg to be much faster than the uc-33e, but the uc33 is much more programable.

but the korg is perfect for us techno folk who don't have to worry about playing melodies (the keys are smaller than most).

what programs do u play u us'em on?

Do u need more of a keyboard or more of a control surface with lots of sliders and Knobs?

I guess with those answers it should b easier 2 make up yer mind!

Im mainly going to be using it for live stuff, mostly using ableton & reason

uc33 if u want to use it for ableton. if you want to play keyboard edirol is ok.
