I am ballz up on an answer for this. I think Scot project - rock but then I think of tracks like Pro-tech - Dominating power, Dj sequenza - accept no limits, trance generators - the dance floor, or even old stuff like Cherry dee - time of passion. I really can't decide because there have been so many!!!

for example i deffo dont think Rock is one of the best hardtrance tracks ever made it aint even one of Scot Projects better ones IMO

Got to be Hennes & Cold - The Second Trip (Dj Scot Project mix).

It completely changed the face of hard trance, and the bassline used in it created it's own genre! This tune still sounds awesome nearly 3 years later, it hasn't dated at all.

I would say that Shokk - Folie a Deux (to give it it's proper title) comes not far behind though.

I think the best way to do it is by going through the different stages of Hard Trance, for example this is how i relate to it - You have got the Old skool sound, then the sound off 98 - 2000/2001 (a good example is Marks mix off Brainstorm) then you have 2001 - 2004 (Hennes & Cold 'Second Trip' (Scot Remix) defining tune and creating that unique bassline), then 2005 - 09.

Then you could maybe get the ultimate winner but it would be so hard to do that, you would probably be best at most, doing the ultimate top 10/20....?
