Thursday November 4th
DJ Kalif [Tribal Fuel - Brazil]
Eddie Brennan [Electric City]
Simon Conway [electricity]
Admission - e7 / e5 with flyer
Thanks to everyone who braved the atrocious weather conditions last week.
This Thursday, we host the long awaited return to Dublin of Brazilian DJ
Kalif. By now an honorary Irish man Kalif, has been a firm favourite on the
lively local techno scene ever since he first set foot in Ireland many years
ago. He is a naturally gifted mixer and a true musical fanatic as anyone who
has heard many of his great sets over the years will testify. On the night
he will be delivering a two hour set of electro & techno that is sure to
include tracks from his chart below.
Support on the night comes from Electric City debutant and stalwart
supporter of the club Eddie Brennan. A regular down at the club we are only
too glad to give Eddie the opportunity to play his first ever club set and
view the dancefloor from the dark side. Expect funky techno from the like of
Ben Sims, Gary Martin and Deetron. Electric City resident Simon Conway will
be supplying the sounds for the first hour with some shallow electro.
DJ Kalif chart, in no particular order:
Lucien n Luciano - Stone age - Cadenza
Surgeon & Regis - Don't give way to fear - BMB 3
Holger Flinsch - Zweite Ernte - Eruptive records
