Electric City

Thursday November 11
Pete Donaldson [Perpetual Recordings - Belfast]
Christopher Bonnie
Giles Armstrong [electricity]
Admission e6 / e5 with flyer
Cheers to everyone who came long last week to support DJ Kalif and Eddie
Brennan. The boy from Brazil didn't disappoint his hordes of adoring fans
with a classic Kalif set while expect to see newcomer Eddie Brennan back
again real soon after he also played a killer set. This week sees the much
anticipated return to Electric City of the Nordy Lord of Hard, Pete
Donaldson. Pete last rocked [and we mean rocked] the club in January with a
powerful onslaught of no-holds-barred lock-up-yer-grandmothers techno.
Expect no different this time around as he will be dishing out two hours of
his most ruthless and relentless beats. Pounding tracks from Sven Wittekind,
Amok, Rush, Glenn Wilson and Robert Natus are all sure to feature in Pete's
set along with his razor sharp energetic mixing style which looks equally as
impressive to the eye as it does sound to the ear.
Debut set of the night comes from Bryan McFadden impersonator, Christopher
Bonnie. This newcomes prefers his lap-tops from Dell rather than Lapellos
however. Since having spun at the Technology events at the Belvedere,
Christopher has built up a sound reputation as one of the best new techno
DJs around. He'll be joining the musical dots between resident Giles and
guest Pete.
EC resident Giles Armstrong will be starting the night off at a snails pace
with a set of deep dubby wubby techno.
