Whats everyone think of his producion work

I saw him a while ago and it wasnt my bag at all....he was all kick drums and no big phat bass.
the tracks he was playing sounded weak and i got bored and headed for the bar

Quite partial to Kay D Smith's productions myself, although they can be a little similar to each other at times. Definitely the kind of stuff that's good to play 1 or 2 tunes in a set, but not a whole string of them..

Im actually glad you guys posted a topic about this guy. Lemme give you my insight on K.D.Smith. A long while ago I started off with buying Kraemer things on Construct, once and again Kay.D.Smith would pop up but his stuff seemed to scream too much.
About a year ago, i bought this album Kay D. Smith Meine Reise 18.02.2002 JERK2012/35 2x12" Vinyl, WHOLE MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!! This is the best work i think that has come out on any of those drizzly labels.
And im sorry if these guys make some trance here in there, this album is hard and will always get play in my crate.
I as well am quite curious to see Smith play live or do whatever he does, i think his records are great(ALTHOUGH DRIZZLY PRESSINGS GENERALLY SUCK ASS!!!!!). I would pay a good sum of money to see him throw down a live with Andreas Kraemer and Thomas Pogadl.(a techno set mind you)
