Two topics that have seen some heated debate recently on this forum, so I wonder what people think of this. Taken from the Meganite newsletter...
MAURO'S LATEST RELEASES
Just to keep everyone up to date with Mauro’s new releases on Primate.
July 21st
Mauro Picotto & Riccardo Ferri
Alchemist E.P
PRMT077
Personally, I'm quite looking forward to it. Let's see how Picotto's techno goes down now he's on a "real" techno label.

Excuse my ignorance, but why do a large proportion of people seem to hate primate on this site. I've bought some tunes I don't like on primate, but also some ****in great tunes....bit like most lables really. Just interested to know the reasons.

Im not going to say that i hate primate at all, i actually have one varela record on primate. Um, as for Picotto, yeah so what hes done some commercial stuff on BXR but hes a brilliant producer in my opinion, and if a solid techno track on Primate IM ALL FOR IT!

ahm sure this tune will ****in rock, if peeps can put out all the thoughts of picotto doin commercial tunes, and chuck it out of there heads, not many can dismiss him as havin no talent or not makin good tech, cuase he does imo. He rocks some ass, and ahm pretty sure his new Meganite label will surprise a few of the die hard tech fans with some quality releases. He knows his stuff, as much as people hate to admit it.
And primate, they are a good label, theres not a label in te world who can keep up top releases time after time, too much critism.
Remember the good, and forget the bad.
