Not that i would stress the word "talent" in any description of my tracks but I have been producing alot of techno of late and I feel that I am now able to push some tunes to a few labels. The only problem is that I'm not in the techno scene at all I have always been a hard trance producer so I'm not sure where to start in the thankless task of demo sending??
Can anyone maybe suggest a few links to labels whom I can email some samples to, or do most labels prefer a CD????
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

The best thing (I guess) is to get your stuff to the labels which release tracks which sound like yours??! If you dont play techno Im more than welcome to have a listen and tell you which labels I would imagine hearing your stuff on (if I have any records of that style?)? There are enough label guys that come on this site which Im sure will want a listen, a lot of labels have a 'sound' and some will release just quality tracks, regardless of the name or 'style'.
Try http://www.giantanddwarf.com/ and http://www.electronikmusic.com/
or you could even post a few links in the TECHNO FILES section of this forum.
yeah, why not posting some links to tracks here..
if label owners dont contact you, perhaps someone else could give you a hint where could you send your music ;)
