I just received some sort of a threatening e-mail (with an scr.file attachment) from Jaxxrecords.

Or maybe it's just spam-mail.

Entitled:

"You cannot do that!"

From messenger:

992657310.20040930133742@jaxxrecords.com

And when opening e-mail it says:

"Let'us be short: you have no experience in writing letters!!!"

Writing letters??? :?:

I have visited this website and I found you in the spammer list. Is that true?

i've had e-mails recieved that appear to be from the guys behind fruitly loops. got the e-mail not more than 2 weeks after purchacing the program - seemed very suspisious at 1st. I put it down to either them having a virus on their machine and it picked up my e-mail address from their contact list or its one amazing coincidence (most likely the latter).

Viruses nowadays forge FROM headers in e-mail. If your e-mail address is listed anywhere publicly on the internet, or someone has it in their addressbook and get's infected, that's how they get the e-mail addresses. The person who is supposedly sending you the virus may not even be infected with it.
