Surgeon | Counterbalance, Downwards, Tresor, UK
Surgeon is one of the most influential techno producers today. Since his legendary “Surgeon EP” dropped in 1995, Surgeon has been known for blurring the lines between experimental and techno music. His unique sound has served as an inspiration for many of today’s biggest techno producers. To the heads who have just been turned on to the techno sound, he may be better known as one half of the British Murder Boys, a sick and twisted collaborative project with fellow producer Regis. Once again, another Minneapolis first brought to you those who care.

Function | Infrastructure, Downwards, Warm Up, NYC
If one “1st Minneapolis appearance” wasn’t enough, then please welcome New York based producer, Function. David Sumner is also part of the Downwards project “Portion Reform” which includes label-head Regis. He is currently working on more releases for his own label Infrastructure, as well as Downwards and Warm Up. Tonight, you’ll find out why he has been tearing up the dance floors across Europe for years.
The following DJs practically are "Minneapolis techno." Over the years, their music has inspired many of today's local DJs, and their parties are responsible for helping to make Minneapolis a staple in the U.S. techno scene.
Centrific | Intellephunk
DVS1 | Hush
Although their performances are sometimes few and far between, these guys are always in top form with their unique style. Come and see why their names are slowly emerging on line-ups across Minneapolis.
