yeah ellen alien, check her last album, superb! Richard Bartz too, saw him live in Dance Valley a few years back, amazing stuff!
tiefschwartz, egofeed, kiko, tomas anderson.
i wouldnt say kompakt too much, as you said you're after tougher stuff. kompakt are usually a bit more minimal.
check carrettas label 'space factory'. starwhore records, lasergun, television, dekathalon, dum, all of those are ace :)

Kiki's new album on B-Pitch is fantastic! I'm lucky enough to get sent all the B-Pitch stuff now, fantastic label, possibly me fav!
Currently digging the Tiefschwarz remix of Unit 4 on Clone, HUGE tune! Finished with at The End on Saturday before Vitalic (what an honour!), went down a storm. Vitalic was fantastic, his new album is gonna be the dogs bollox so to speak!

Cycle sluts - :notworthy: What a track! To me, it's legendary... One of the best techno tracks of all time in my opinion...
Off-topic: I saw Rok's DJ set in Ljubljana and was blown away - the man is like, fifty years old and spins some ****ing EVIL gothic techno music while calmly drinking his juice-vodka (he brought a flask of Smirnoff to the club and inspected the dancefloor while drinking it straight from the flask)... He started his set with some great synthy electro/techno and It was excellent, plus it was the first time I saw the AirFX unit (I hadn't even heard about it then) so I was totally amazed how he could perform filter sweeps with his hand! (I bought the thing later on, doesn't work anymore) :D I have lots of respect for this man, great producer, good DJ, made a great party
