those round knobs!
it's wierd using a mixer with round knobs instead of faders. Used a vestax one that had it once...

It's a rotary mixer, a lot of house DJs like to use them as they can be very smooth, but it wouldn't be great for mixing techno. It has the old VU meters as well - although they are actually more accurate than LEDs they'd be very hard to read in a dark club.

That's a tank, not a mixer!!
I've seen these used in House club's like someone said...I bet they have an awesome sound to them....
I am sure that mixer sounds good. Its just not a mixer I'd like to use while playing techno.
I've played on a few Rane rotary mixers and they sounded great. I just hate having knobs instead of faders.

its more for blending tracks together than chopping beats around, great for house and stuff , couldnt do without a cross fader though ,allthough i think you could get one in the signal chain somewhere.
