alrite my setup is in a box room how many traps do i need 4 in the bottom corners of the room and 4 in the top corners of the room or just 4 in the bottom also dose anybobdy know where i can get cheap bass traps that will do the job..want 2 really sort out the accoustics of the room have just put up a few foam absorbers in the room and am waitin on my pair of fostex pm 1 moinitors 2 arrive :evil: :evil:

Shed loads of them, I've got an Atom-12 kit and it'd made about 5% difference. You can't have enough bass trapping!

With bass trapping you have to remember that depth is what you need to soak up the eccess low fequencies. So a cheap solution could be simply putting up a load of shelving filled with magazines. Obviously constructing your own bass traps will be cheaper & may have a better result. Just get a some MDF for frames & a shed load of Rockwool & fill 'em up.
