Well if there was a mod here the post could be deleted.
Never use samples to make techno that come from a CD with "Techno" writtten on it anyway.
That`s like doing what they tell you to in school
Or having sex with you mother, it`s just wrong.

i was given them by a well known freind.......i had a problem for years with my kicks it was a nightmare. i thought id post some coz i can see in the production files people making amazing stuff but they have same problem i had which was my kicks. these lot work wonders specialy wen manipulated. but idely we should get some kinda share going on here bare in mind we have to limmit our samples to legal stuff! hehehehe! but like i say if anyone has got sum loops or anything lying about they dont use then we could get sum sort of recycle bin going here ,thats if its ok with the moderater mind. ;)

I`ve not really noticed anyone having trouble with their kicks in the production files.
But seeing as kicks are so important in techno, that maybe people should learn how to make kicks, rather than use use peoples. Cos otherwise you are always gonna be stuck using one or two good samples, when you could draw up a kick generator and some compression, and make your own.

I don`t want to sound like a moaning lecturer, but anyone serious about making techno should at least know how to make a good kick drum.

If anyone is interested I can start a thread with some basic compression settings for
Hard
Medium
And light Kicks

Yes please Steve, sure everyone would like some advice on that from you!

The one on your track 'I bass my life on this' is spot on...

Please go ahead, i'd appreciate just about any tutorial from you, m8. so please share your knowledge :!:

i think there should be alot more of that stuff in this department, but maybe that's just me. if you look at the 'grid' section of the dogs on
acid forum

http://www.dogsonacid.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=4

as an example (d'n'b btw) i think you'll see what i mean.

heaps of information on bass, subbass etc. and a very healthy sample upload mentality.

and i don't even list to that kinda stuff
