SEQUENCE : 19/03 : The Kosmik Kommando LIVE / Ed DMX
sequence. 19th march. an acid special @ the attic venue, oxford road, manchester (underneath oxford road train station).
featuring a live set from the legend that is THE KOSMIK KOMMANDO (aka mike dred/the universal indicator). reportedly hooking up with the rephlex label after meeting some friends of the afx twin en route to a rave in Köln, his 1992 kosmik kommando ep was among the first 12-inches released through the label and is now a collectors item. mike's highly talked about live set is mostly analogue and his penchant for experimental acid and techno fit neatly into the sequence vision.
if that's not enough bass for you we also have sequence favourite ED DMX on the billing. turned onto electro in 1983 after buying a kraftwerk 7" as a teenager, ed began recording as dmx krew in the mid-90's with his first album 'the sound of the street' appearing in 1996 on rephlex records. ed has performed around the world, playing all over western and eastern europe, touring the US several times with rephlex and most recently playing dates in australia. an expert with a set of 1210's, ed never fails to bring the house down.
dj support from sequence resident audio technicians, the science block playing your favourite monthly soundtrack of electro, acid and bass. visuals by CCTV and homoelectric visual artists the beards.
only £7 in. cheaper before 11:00. a cheap booze offer every night and the best 5k rig in manchester. believe.
