Soundforge 6 - Timestretch?

how can i tell the original bpm of the sample so i can either speed up or down? always seems to read 120bpm.

what you need to do is change the bpm in the options screen to a guess and then open up the sample with the time format on beats. if the markers are exact, you've got the bpm!!!

the best thing is to know the bpm before you go into soundforge ;)
