View Full Version : shitty clicks remover to make track more clean
Hi! could u guys recomend me some good software to clean my tracks from those unwelcome sounds, mean mostly a clicking effect which occures with bad quality samples [ie from old films...]???
cool edit, theres a newer one out now audition i think its called it has hiss crackle reduction and things works well aswell
which version of cool edit???
Cool edit pro. or cool edit 2000
audition is just CEP with Adobe plastered all over the place.
Also the waves, X-click, X-hum, X-noise, X-hiss are AMAZING at getting rid of naughties.

U definatly need 2 get read of it at the sample level.. in the finished track most of the time it's nearly impossible without loosing something else to !
Go back 2 yer samples and clean' em.

Sonic Foundry (Sony?) have a range of plugins some of which are amazing for Sound Forge. The Sonic Foundry Noise Reduction tool is just mind blowing the first time you use it

yeah, cool edit/adobe audition does a decent job, you can tweak the little parameters how you want to help you better
also using the waves x click/noise/crackle ones are good as well

thats right but i have to clean only the breakdown parts, so the whole track wouldn't lose the impact, though
