i had a new laptop blow recently. motherboard AND hardrive. tell me about it. having to use shitty 500mhz work laptop last few months. but all shall be resolved soon allah willing.
yeap thats what went on mine the harddrive  . cheers guys& girls ;)
fecking coz the harddrive went i think im gonna hav to reinstall everything again. i had logic and midi drivers and soundcard stuff installed by the shop. and updates. im dreding it. soundcard and midi driver gets installed first yeah before logic?
and with the software that ive brought on download when the component is in the commponets folder and working. can i get rid of the install icon and zip folder off of my desktop :?: .
and to back up plugins that ive brought would i just need to burn off the components?
any help would be much app ;)
and if i gotta instal soundcard driver before logic i take that i should install update for sound card before. and midi i dont kno if i need update for midi. i dont think so but like i said shop dun it for me

yes install all the latest drivers before anything else, once installed you can either move the file from your desktop and save it somewhere else, or completely delete it and download it again if you need to reinstall.
i personally save my latest drivers in a folder called drivers
so if i burn the instal icon onto disc. that will back it up yeah. and with the plugins to bac them up would i hav to burn the instal icon aswell as the componet?.

just burn the installation folders for your drivers and plugin's, no need to save the actuall installed parts
