not sure
usally most licences are usally only allowed to be installed on one computer at the time.
it would depend on the securtiy that the devolopers have put on the software to.
probably best to email and ask

how could the software know it is installed on another computer ?
If it needs a dongle , just use the dongle on whatever computer you are using at the moment
there is no dongle for ableton. but a lot of apps have that "phone home" thing; maybe it does, maybe it doesn't.

Yeah they let you generate a couple serial numbers... I use mine on both my laptop and main studio pc just fine ;)

I cant see there being a problem like. If you had too then you could always crack a version for your laptop. I cant really see them being arsey if some some magical reason they found out, at least you bought the software which is more than most people do.

Abes are pretty cool with people using it on their desktop + a laptop for gigs or whatever but if you use it live with two laptops they want you to buy a second license (which I think might be cheaper or something, I dunno)

if you have an original copy,
you have 2 registration codes standard.
