What do people think are the best headphones?
and then realistically what are the best headphones, value for money?
I really like Sennheisers, but the Sony MDV500's are real nice too.
What do you lot think eh?

1210s all the way!!!
I can't do with anything else when it comes to headphones. HD25s are good too, but they look shite.

for style and manouverability i reckon the 1210's are the don, but for comfort and sound quality i gotta go for the sennheisers.

DO NOT BUY SONY MVR-500'S
THEY SUCK SERIOUS ASS. ask djcraigryan, he has a pair and they just dont stick to your head, they bend out on the pivots, plus the cup is about as big as my mates left bollck.
But do buy the technics RP-F550
quality headphones for around £40. Loud as larry and tough as tisen.
i have had two pairs now, broke the first ones only because i got mad after a shit cd mix!!!!!
Like everyone else has said the hd-25's are the daddys easily handsdown.
I little interesting fact about these headies is that every part on them can be replaced, so you will never buy a whole new pair!!!!
What does everyone think about those stunning looking new pioneer ones?

I got the new pioneer ones, and personally find them better than all apart from maybe the technics. Pioneer headphones are seriously imense.

I must admit, the 1210's are a very good shout... they also have a class cable length where as the Senhieser ones are too short and often get caught on stuff beneath you.
Anyone else have probs with one of the ear pieces cutting out on the 25's? I often get this and have to quickly tap the the black or red connector and then it's fine. Just that it's a panic attack for me when it cuts when I'm about to cue off a record...
There only a few months old too...
