Try to get his That Total Age LP... it's got stuff like 'Join In The Chant' and 'Let Your Body Learn'. If you liked 'Murderous' you'll love the album.

Yeah, i've got that album. You'll find loads of Nitzer Ebb stuff on ebay. There's quite a few remixes about on 12'' as well.

The last Godflesh stuff is pretty intense.
And Justins new project Jesu is seriously intense. Worth tracking down for the less cheesy side of commercial industrial.

Well, godflesh alas are no more.
Jesu is Justins new thing now.
I have the video of Crush my soul (love the remix of that) featuring Bob Flanagan.
I`m hoping to get justing to do a remix for my forthcoming Singularity label, but I need to get proper contact for him.
Hopefully I`ll be getting a good remix from Hypo Luxa too.
Fear Buck. Buck will **** you up.

Nitzer EBB.
wow. one of my favorite industrial groups from the day.
We just hosted a show with
Terence Fixmer & Douglas McCarthy (Nitzer Ebb) last Friday in Chicago.
The first song they performed was "Join In The Chant".... the final song they did was "Let Your Body Learn".
F**kin' amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
700 sweaty people for sure.
If you like the Nitzer Ebb,
check out Fixmer & McCarthy stuff too.

haha. I'm reading these lyrics right now from their 1991 'Ebbhead' album (trust me avoid this CD at all costs) . What a scab McCarthey looks like now..
DJ VD
I'm looking 'bout and listenin' good
used to dance and now I stand
can't recall if I changed
fact remains things ain't the same
look up about and listen good
take your bunce and that's not all
the more they scratch, the more you'll itch
it's a condition we'll have to cure
dj vd, dj vd
it won't get me
originality deficiency
take your decks and swivel
don't you try to tell me
how to live my life
don't you try to tell me
what's honey and what is spice
dj pull the plug on that
standing in a bar, feet on the floor
chilling out and digging the scene
seems like it used to be really fun to do
things ain't always how they seemed
looks like the emphasis is changing here
a significant and ominous twist
it's confusing and frustrating
utterly deflating
in fact it gets me utterly pissed
so listen good, and look about
go ahead and tell me what you see
this is a terminal disease
and we've got to set us free
cos looks like a midas in reverse
the things they touch they curse
and smother with the killer pumping bass
the issue they're confusing
themselves they are deluding
I guess they've got a terminal case
dj vd, dj vd
it won't get me
originality deficiency

The Murderous remix is by Phil Kerian, its a bit of a classic in the making I think. Beautiful record. The LFO remix of Control I'm here or whatever its called is also brilliant. Novamute re-released alot of NitzerEbb stuff with remixes by the big guns. All of them rock, check out Derrick Mays remix, its pretty cool.
Actually, Surgeon/British Murder Boys ALWAYS drop a version of Join in the Chant and its the best remix around, I emailed old anthony Child but got no response - I assume its his own mix. Any ideas?
