This coming show we have an Novalectra Special with some amazing guests again! The first hour we’ll have Holland’s number one techno live-act and producer Secret Cinema joining us to talk about what he’s doing at the moment. The second hour we (probably) have Dynamic Tension label boss DJ Surgeon for a small talk and musical support.

Secret Cinema
One of Hollands best producers and live-acts. Throught the years he produced some classic tracks under his a.k.a.'s Secret Cinema, Grooveyard and Meng.

Tracks like Timeless Altitude, Mary Go Wild, Gung Ho and his more recent Acid Come are considered true pieces of electronic art.

Surgeon
Tony‘s early ear for electronic sounds brought Throbbing Gristle, Suicide, Steve Reich, Coil and Faust to his attention while Dub and 80‘s Electronic funk kept his palate varied, favoring primary sonic qualities over typical melody structures. Engaging sound on whatever equipment made itself available, basic home studio setups let experimentation reign until he relocated to Birmingham for study in 1989. Tony's sounds changed with his landscape: chaos-born sounds from his rural environment evolved into disciplined, structural work affected by architecture, geometry, time. The influence spread deeper when in 1993 he was involved in setting up the House of God Techno club in Birmingham (which is still running today).

Furthermore we’ll give you a lot of background information on the upcoming Novalectra party which will take place on May 14 in Eindhoven (NL). A few artists who will play there are Felix the Housecat, Joey Beltram, Robert Hood, Zombie Nation, Ellen Allien, Marco Passarani, Daniel Bell and Fabrice Lig. We’ll also give away backstage passes and more goodies surrounding this great event.

We are very proud to receive these two techno legends on our show and hope to have you tuned in this Saturday between 20:00 and 22:00 CET. If you have any questions for us or our guest or like to interact with the program in any other way please go to www.beatcast.nl and click the forum! Here we will interact live with the listeners during the show, or you can post your comments and questions any given time.

Of course this show, like all previous shows, will be available through podcasting again. For more information go to our website.[/i]
