How American sounding. I'm sure it will do a lot of good, for the oh...$300 or whatever they are probably making off the release. It'll cost that much to talk to his lawyer for an hour. I know its the principle of the thing, but honestly...

i understand where dustin is coming from tho deaf, but more to the point i completely support and respect gunjacks decision to pursue legal advice...

i think what is more saddening is that it has come to lawyers in the first place...

Whoa, slow down a minute. I'm exactly sure what I've done to rain on your parade over time, but I guess you are entitled to your own opinion.

First off, if my message came across to you as being over cocky...I DO apologize for that. My night consisted of calling an ambulance for someone and going through a major process at the hospital, I was on edge. BUT, I do not apologize for my point of the post.

@Gunny: I didn't post with the intentions of disrespecting you or Varela. All I was trying to say is that lawyers in the long run will do more harm than good. Especially if it becomes an international affair, it will be costly and drawn out. It sucks I know. I support Varela's decision to back up his work, any proud artist should! But if it were me, I would probably do a campaign similar to what Sims did with the whole Killabite thing. Informing the public and consumers I think is a stronger tool than taking the small amount of royalties the label would have to offer.

Also, think about all the times other artists such as Beyer or Mills have been ripped off. Hundreds, probably even thousands. It's impossible for them to chase down everyone. As an artist, I do understand how much it would suck to have this happen. But at the same time, unfortunately when you choose to become an artist I think you have to accept the fact that someone might be out there ripping you off at any moment. It shouldn't be that way but sadly it is.

I'm not saying anyone should allow them to get away with it, but there has to be a better means to dealing with it.

Also between me and you, I'm not sure why you hate me but just know that to this day I've had respect for you (and massive amounts to Varela as well). I've got your shit on sheep and still play it. I always respect your views or opinions on things even though sometimes I may not agree. There's no need to shove things back in one's face.

With language like that you'd make a great cop, except for the "peace" part :)
