looks like a very powerful tool for artists to start pushing boundaries in the visual area as well as audio.

what is it with music and visuals? most people i meet that create some form of electronic music are seriously into the visual arts. i know numerous people from the board that are into it, berkovi produces graphics for websites etc, landstrumm runs a really sucessful graphics firm working with companies as big as rockstar games.

sure, makes sense doesn't it? it's easy to think about sound in terms of shape (suggests a theme or feeling), size (volume), color (intensity), depth, etc.. i have a friend who is primarily a graphic designer who always talks about his muisc as if it's a visual entity. there's that clip speedy j once included in his music, him talking about the music as shape and movement. sounds to me very often have an immediate suggestion of shape or dimensionalness... etc etc.

we have done a small project on seeing sound. sound as visuals. there is a brain disorder that when someone hears a certain sound they see shapes and colours. there is also a disorder similar that whn you hear certain sounds and words, you get a taste.

on the programme i watched this man said the word sausages tasted like vomit :lol:
