Hi there.

reckon you lot could bring your experience to this one...

My mate is after buying a pair of nearfield monitors, either passive or active and he has around 80 squids to lash out.

what's gonna be good for that sort of money? he has a flat response rotel amp for passives.

i suggested a pair of alesis monitor 1s passives..

any other ideas?

just did a search on the sound on sound site for absolute zeros

he could get some of thoses puppies second hand for that sort of money

Aye, i like the absolute 2's good value and loud as ****!

most of them are too far away to travle to see, i did look on SOS, but nothing in that price range was close enough to warrant a trip.

Ebay - yeah man, postage costs are harsh on ebay these days..

somtimes things arent as pretty as what they are in the picture with ebay. can be dissapointing. but it can be realy good.
