for those that dont know Big Trak is a robot created from a Mattel Big Trak chassis, and a Packard Bell - Cyrix '486 processor based laptop. I created an interface between the laptop and the Big Trak motor/transmission using 5v reed relays and the outputs off of the parallel port. It is programmed
in Visual Basic 6.0., and uses parallel port access software called (if I recall correctly) Basic In/Out 32

what does the number pad on that thing do?
You can program it to do things like "forward 5, left 3" etc.

Sort of like a LOGO turtle.
