hi gang, hope your all well and avin it where ever you is.
right my web site should be ready to go in about a month, but... then again i have been saying this for about a year now but i have seen some of the pages and there awsome it will be in at least 6 different languages for starters with more to follow.

i thought long and hard about how i could give something back to the scene as a way of saying thankyou for the last 12 years of utter utter madness i have had travelling the world and playing records, first i thought that i would do a competion and give away some copies of the new bionic orange and infected release which where both cut last monday (15/08/05) so there on there way! then i thought thats **** pants everbody and there dogs do that, so then i thought what better way to say thanks for the support then to help the people that matter in this scene YOU LOT!!!! so i will be running a competion to off of the website.

the question will not be easy but it will be very worth it but at the same time it will be a question im hoping most of you will know, yeah that doesnt make sence does it

so i'll cut to the chase:

1st prize. a day in my studio with me engineering with a possible release on one of my labels or other labels that might be interested.

2nd prize. 1 copy of bio-021 and inf-021 and guest mix and biog on the site for a month.

3rd, 4th and 5th prize. a copy of bio-021 and inf-021

of course i expect some of you lot will not want to go in the studio with me so it can be given to a friend or whatever really im sure we can work something out.

also for the first prize the travel is not included sorry, i guess the first prize can only really be claimed by someone in the uk unless your gonna fly over here then in that case cool.

i know what its like trying to get something off the ground even just getting a gig these days so i hope this helps someone.

i will post a notice and countdown of 7 days before the site is up giving everone a far go at it, i'll look forward to working with one of you.

well the reason he got under my skin and eventually got banned was after a few comments he directed towards me that, if I'd have know was Mike, would not have got under my skin like that. you can see now that he was winding me up. as for him winding you up, well ok he did do, and i suppose if this was any other member us mods would have pointed them towards the rules and if they didn't quit it they'd get a warning.

please rowland, don't have a go at me. i havent got a phd in how to run a forum. i didn't re-instate him cause he is a producer. i re-instated him because i felt so shit for over-reacting and banning him for the reasons i did. first of all he made a comment about me being his bum chum. i totally went off on one and if you look back at that post, it's so funny cause he actually was mike. then i came on here. i saw the comments about k. i got straight onto sam on msn and said 'we've gotta watch that networker'. sam told me he already was. i said, look just ban ppl if they're blatently not what these forums are about. already i was winding myself up. then i pm'ed networker asking him nicely to calm it down and sort himself out. i posted the message 'stop being a twat'. then straight away i got a message saying 'easy'. well that was the final straw. i'm not having someone i don't know wind me up like that. next thing you know, i discovered it was mike. and all became clear.

so i thought about it and thought well would i have banned him if i knew it was mike? and the answer was no. but i certainly would have kept my eye on him and pm'ed him again. with comments like what were said to you, i'd be stupid not to keep my eye on him.

so he's back on board now, and rest assured that rule breaking comments will not be tolerated. i think the best thing is to issue a warning in this case, because i simply wouldnt have just banned someone like this in normal circumstances. that's only fair and i totally see ppl's point.

Next time I see a Mike Humphries record, I will seriously think twice before having a listen.

I dont really care if he is reinstated or not, but I know other people have been banned permantly for stuff that was FAR less offensive than some of those 50 posts from networker, most of which were purely on the wind up and had no value whatsoever, and some of which were actually downright rude attacks at various board members, including rowland, who was trying to do something good and positive for the scene.
