Were really lacking a assassin in front of goal. No point being comfortable in games & creating as many chance as we were only to not kill games off. Benitez is talking of this kuyt now, so all this “I need a defender & a winger” has been a front (even though we do need them). I hope he will see sense & go for Owen over him. I’ve got no doubt he will score for a grin if he comes in back, in the right team.
Same price range & one of them isn’t a risk. Makes more sense to me. He’s got, what? 7/8 days is it left? To make or break are season. Gonna be interesting.

What about Morientes?? I'm sure if Liverpool played someone more akin to Bergkamp alongside him or Cisse they'd do a bit better, playing 2 target men doesn't make for a good partnership.

I dont think crouch & heskey will play much together where it can be helped. We need either someone who can make chances for himself & others or a player like owen.

in my opinion were still lacking a class creative midfielder.people are starting to get on morenties's back, but hes either up front on his own,or has little or no chances to score and isnt in the game because he isnt getting enough of the ball.
