cant seem to figure out how to do this. I was trying to do it using the CV gain inputs in Subtractor, but I can seem to figure out how to link it up with Redrum. does anyone here know how to acomplish bassline ducking in Reason 3.0?

does ducking = sidechaining ?

if so, theres a sidechain on the compressor..

one thing ive never played with tbh... prob should

Just automate the volume on your mixer for a bar, select copy and paste for the length of the track.... gives you the most control of duck amount in reason (2.5 anyway)....

Use the new M-Class Comp and send one of the L/R outs from redrum (preferably from the Kick ) into the sidechain of the comp. :)

Don't forget to EQ your input into the compressor first to strip it down to just the shape of the sound you want.
