i think Sven will get us to the world cup, but come on? hes on what 4.7m a year(100k a week) or somthing, and he plays roony on the left wing :nono: :nono:

i think he will change alot of things for our next match, and play people in there proper positions, maybe drop some of the ego's in the side to let them know there not assured a 1st team spot.

annyways, keep sven in the spot for now i say,we lost 1 qualifying game out of 20? not to shabby...just we lost to the irish that people are going nuts over.Get over it already :)

wtf has winning cups got to do with it,its how they have constucted a team from nothing with nobodys into a good team with nobodys plus they are both english and seem to have the love, the passion and the madness for the game that we need ;)

You having a laugh? Its got everything to do with it, it shows pedigree, a winning mentality at the highest levels. Sure if one of them got it they would have the hunger for it but they wouldnt do fuk all. Hunger & passion will only get you so far.

Yeah, I've lost interest in watching the England bore fests, it's supposed to be entertainment. It's just wishful thinking though, alas, don't think there's anyway we'll get rid of him before the World cup unless we fail to qualify.

We could give it to someone on a temporary basis perhaps, since there aren't any successful english managers knocking about, just ones who could probably do well if they had a team capable of winning anything.

Here's a scary thought, it's just occurred to me that Englands football makes Chelsea's look exciting - and that's not easy!

anyway, wenger might take the england job

Chelsea have Robben and Duff though and give SWP more of a go. Anyway, I don't see Wenger replacing Sven somehow! He ruled himself out before they appointed Sven.

I want David Seaman to manage England.

He can impose a requirement that the whole team show unity by growing ponytails and mustaches.

This would assure victory against even Brazil!!

Alan Shearer !!!!!!! for manager
he puts out the team he thinks the tabloids want to see play.
why does he play players who are unfit and out of form e.g Beckham and Owen?

Alan shearer??????????????? dont make me laugh.

If Alan Shearer ever becomes England manager then i dont think ill ever be able to bring myself to support them,,it was bad enough when that little shit Keegan was in charge.

Sven for me I cant see another better in the English game anyhow.

Pearce would be good as part of the coaching team for his passion.

I think we have not got much choice to stick witn Sven although think he's crap.

I agree and think Pearce should be part of the set up for the World Cup, England need a real motivater in the changing rooms, someone to get them fired up at half time. Someone to tell Beckham, Gerrard Rooney or Owen that they are playing crap and to start playing better or they will be off.

So what? That hardly justifies the role as England manager, for starters we dont know how they could handle big name players or the pressure of a top job. When they had managed someone a little more high profile then i'd maybe be inclined to agree but not at the moment.

Well in my eyes, england are a bolton or man city type team in the international tournaments...

And I can see them making our players work for some glory...

Rather than dickhead sven just sitting there with his finger over his lips with his legs crossed and then take the blame after....

Can u imagine pearcey shouting at rooney and beckham, that'd kick them into shape...

jam

A Bolton or Mancity type team?

What with world class players like Robinson,Neville,Cole,Terry,Ferdinand,Gerrard,Lamp ard,Rooney,Wright-Phillips???????????????????????

Come on don't be silly.

In any case that is not what i mean, what i'm saying is,who knows if they could cope with the ego's of Rooney,Beckham,Ferdinand,Gerrard,Lampard etc etc and if they could handle the media pressure of constantly having your privacy invaded.

Yeah they'd be better than Sven but so what anyone would be.

But come on we are England supposedly one of the best teams in the world and one of the favs for the World cup and you want our manager to be someone who hasn't had his job for a year yet and a fat slug who has done nothing more than take a team of ageing stars to 6th in the premiership?????

We want a manager who has won titles, been in finals, has had his job for years and is respected all round. Now i think about it i wanted Bryan Robson but i dont think he has done enough yet. There isn't really any English manager about who is good enough at the moment. It should be someone who would have pride in his job and the English game.

To be fair we're ****ed coz there really isn't anyone available to take this job on.

Will

Maybe it should be Capello then, his record makes Sven look like the one season wonder he is, he wants to come to England next, having been successful in Spain and Italy. Either that or he should replace Wenger if he goes any time soon, though I don't think he will.

Sounds like a good deal Maclaren and Pearce take over at England and Cappello takes over at Boro lol
