Mick Chillage - LIVE [Chillage Idiots / XFM - Dublin]
Eddie Brennan [Electric City]
Barry Donovan [Electric City]

Admission - e7 / e5 members

Starting off this week's musical journey we have regular EC guest Barry
Donovan. Fresh from running his first Lunar Disko party last Friday in
Crawdaddy with excellent sets from our own Italo junkie Needles Conway, DJ
TLR and Bangkok Impact from Creme Organization. Barry Garcia will be keeping
true to form by sharing with us his love of Italo new & old for the opening
set. This will be his last time to play EC before heads out to South America
in search of the lost city of the hair band so do try to get down and check
him out.

Next up, we are very proud to have the live debut of one of the biggest
supporters of electronic music here in Ireland, Mick Chillage. Mick has
dropped in stunning CDs of his music through the years and it's a pleasure
to have him play at Electric City. Expect to hear anything from beatless
soundscapes, house, techno & electro to breaks, hardcore and most points in
between.

Mick Chillage is one half of DJing duo the Chillage idiots, since 1996 the
Chillage Idiots have been broadcasting a wide range of electronica on
Dublin's X.F.M and spinning at various clubs around the capital. Although
Mick loves to DJ, it's creating his own grooves and soundscapes which he is
most passionate about. With a wide range of influences it's almost
impossible to pigeonhole his sound, but melody & an emotional quality are
generously sprinkled into his tracks.

Up to now Mick has been quite shy when it comes to releasing material or
sending out demos so his discography is quite small, just a few Irish
compilations. Saccherine (1998) Nueromantek (2001) & the D.E.A.F. mp3
compilation (2004) & and a couple of self-released limited cdrs. Tired of
most of his music existing in a vacuum & being a spectator at live gigs,
Mick decided last year to work on his live sets, and now he feels he is
ready for the live circuit.

Following on from little shy Mickey is EC stalwart Eddie Brennan who will be
delivering his own brand of 3 deck tribal funk for the closing set. Recently
Electric Eddie has been keeping a busy DJ boy with fine sets at Mixed Salad,
Adrenaline in the Belvedere and Technosis in the newly refurbished Viva.
While you can catch him popping his Pogo cherry in October. Here's a
selection of tracks that he will playing:

Cisco Ferreira (The Advent) - Paradise Lost [Tresor]
Greenwich Allstars (Ben Sims, Mark Broom, Vincent Davis) - Flute [Ingoma]
Cristian Vogel - 1968.Holes (12" Remix) [Novamute]
