Well, Sekno, you'd be right to think that.

I'd vote if it was 'which one of these self-important, untalented, scene murdering has-beens deserves to be passed through giant mincing blades'.

Or

'The worlds top 100 dj's - held under water. Until they go still'

Mixmag, DJ etc... WHO CARES ??

If you're true to yourself (and therefore your own music) then WHO GIVES A SHIT what anyone else thinks of you ?

There's nothing sadder than living in the atmosphere of extinct nobility, resting upon false laurels garnered from empty, reciprocal praise from your peers.

Don't get me wrong, it would be nice to see some techno people getting recognition, I just think it's sad that it's come to the stage where the scene is so ****ed we're now prepared to prostitute ourselves artistically for the sake of a few votes in a magazine which was, up until recently, only ever the object of scorn.

Stay on your own sinking ships, why go elsewhere ?

Is the manner of sinking really more any different just because your (unjustified) ego is pandered to in the meantime???

WAKE UP AND DROWN ALONE.

These mags have ignored/derided our scene/music continually, now we are expected to 'get involved' and finally buy into their 'thing', no doubt purely just to keep the ****ers in circulation ??

NOT ME.

If you want a pat on the back for voting for your 'friends' then great, well done. Personally, I can't see why anyone would bother. If the list is just full of ****ers G'ing each other up then IT IS NOT A POLL.

Oh, hang on, we're back the reciprocal back slapping aren't we... YAWN

If I get ONE MORE ****ING EMAIL from ANY CLUB/AGENCY asking me 'NOT TO FORGET' about their 'TALENTED' dj's when I vote in this ****ING POLL....

NO DISRESPECT, BUT I AM NOT GOING TO VOTE. **** OFF. DONT ASK AGAIN*

*Cut and paste this into your own emails if the need arises. You can move the words about and it covers a lot of bases.

How come we can't swear on here, either ?

I mean come on, how old are all of us ?

It's a bit silly, methinks.

Old enough to able to say cunt but not old enough to say ****.

Ah, so it's Marquis of Queensbury rules "chatroom swearing" then, is it ?
(Ie British colloquialisms are allowed as American english snooper clients/swear blockers don't know them)

Things like P155 OFF, PéN15 and FúCKéR are still possible, I hope ;)*

*Sorry for derailing the thread with rudeness. I'm just..... curious[/u]

i have to say im ****ing sick of getting emails of other fellow producers or dj's like Jamie said, reminding me not to forget to vote in this poll, vote in that poll, not even just the english ones either, i think its just that time of year but come on i would die of embarrasment at just the thought of emailing not one, but a whole group of say 50 artists reminding them not to "forget" to vote, insinuating they were going to vote anyway but just helping you to sort your priorities kinda thing
