Me and my best mate Calvin have been making music together for ages now and have decided it was about time that we got a demo made.

We started the first track last night and this is what we got so far.

Maybe intoduce the beat a bit more spectacular( at 28 secs) .... try to create a bit more tension........ then drop it in fully!!!

Any comments on production anybody?Chris?Danny?
Would be very helpful :love: could realy do with some truthful sonic comments.

Do you think we have gone a bit mental with the bottom end?
Are the pads and background stuff loud enuff?

Ive also noticed that the snare dissapears when the kick and sub comes in.

Anybody see any holes?

huh.. this sounds phaat,. kick is really bangin on my monitors... agrre on that introducing beat on 0.28as Lau said,., production sounds quite nice.. maybe i would lower hats just a little bit,., :clap:

Think your right about the hats,Ill turn em down and will also look in to building up to the kick in too,alltho we kind of like the way it just comes in unanounced :rambo:

Really liking this.
I`d say there isn`t a good balance between the hats and the kick, so this relationship could be dealt with by taking the hats down a little.
Also the mid range percussion could do with more width and presence as it is a little sparse.
I`d love to hear the finished version when it is done, very spooky, good sci fi music.

What about that bass anyone on my moniters at a pisstakingly loud level it distorts(usualy they arent that bad at high levels)

This is nicely done but I think it needs some sub under the existing bass, as its a bit boomy right now.
Everything else sounds good.. it actually drops into a proper groove toward the end, so you just need some more length ;)

yep it deffo needs to carry on with thaqt groove for longer and have a few doubleing up tricks and edits thrown in dosnt it.
