Heya, just giving this a listen now.
This does a nice job at branching over a few genres at
once, evolving as the track goes forth. It's hard to tell
where the bass is in the mix, but i'm sure that's just from
the low quality. I have faith that you've mastered it fine,
so i'll just pass that for the moment.
It starts off in a weird place, it moves towards techno,
but then picks up that interesting lighter pad. I really like
how that keeps the entire mood up as things are still get-
ting wild and funky. It straddles a line that is hard for most
to do. It almost makes it, dare i say it, trancey. But that's
a good thing i think, its the juxtaposition of the two moods
that makes this work.
The only thing I can really say is to maybe sort out where
the melody sits coming out of the break, it gets a little clu-
ttered in the higher register, but that might just be the low
quality again.
The thing that i like the most about the track though are the
edits down to where the "bounce" vox come in. They break
up the track nicely and keep it going. I also like the way that
the strength of the bass is really different from the end of the
track then from the beginning. It makes the whole thing have
more of a dynamic structure rather than being totally symm-
etrical.
Anyway, i'm never too good at critiquing completely, so of
course heed the others in this forum more, i just love lots of
stuff. : )
