Electric City
17-10-2005, 11:50 PM
Thursday October 20th @ Traffic.
Rob Moore [Technosis]
Paul Chillage [Chillage Idiots - XFM]
Admission: e7 / e5 members
Rocking the club this week will be the little and large combination of Paul
Chillage and Rob Moore. First up is the Peter Crouch of the partnership Paul
Chilliage. Paul proved on his last visit to Electric City that he has GTFABM
[Good Taste For A Big Man] with a sublime selection of deep techno. Last
month he made a appearance at the club as roadie to long suffering Chillage
Idiots co-host Mick Chillage when he made his exquisite live debut at the
club. This time Paul will be the star of the show for the first two hours
but it still remains to be seen if Mick will be carrying his records for
him?
Following on from Paul and feeding off his knock ons and clever flicks we
have EC debutant Rob Moore. Rob has been a tireless supporter of all things
techno in Dublin for many a year and for some reason we haven't had him down
to play....until now. Rob is a wicked DJ who is quick in the mix and never
afraid to let rip on a trick or 3, whether it's in his own Junction night
which runs at Mischief weekly or out in the fields of Wicklow - Rob has
always delivered intense techno sets to keep the floor hopping. We're well
pleased to have Rob down to put his mark on the EC turntables.
On another note, as well as looking for people to come and play at the club,
we are also looking for people to get involved with promotion of the night
at various levels, so - if you have some time to spare and feel like getting
on board the EC train then drop us a mail and we can fill you in on some of
the things we have going on.
