Im looking into buying a new fx unit for my dj setup.
I fancied somthing new to play with.
Ive already owned an efx 500 so I dont want one of them. I also own a djm 600.
I was looking into geting one of the those axis units - the one where you can move your hand over it and it makes sounds that way.
any people used this?
any other suggestions.
im willing to pay quite a bit but im not getting an efx 1000.
any suggestions :!:
Why not go for the Korg Kaoss Pad. IMHO I think it's far more better than the efx-500. I've got the pioneer, but if I had known at the time, i would have bought the Korg.

ive used the kaos pad 1 - i thought it was a bit nasty looking - didnt feel right - im going to go out and see whats on display at my local dj shop.
theres a few vestax ones but i doubt they would beat the pioneers

the kaos seems to be one of those things that takes time to get used to, but once you have, they're supposed to be great

Isn't the Pioneer much more expensive?

Oh really? I could have sworn it was more expensive... my bad.
Well, I imagine the clincher would be the X/Y pad then...?
