Number 05 and Feinwerk bring out the big guns, Uk expat now resident in Berlin Mark Hawkins (As heard before on Djax, Mosquito and many other imprints) transmits deeper signals from the source, ranging from Abstract techno, Minimal grooves all the way through to deeper electronica. “Bionic” kicks off with alien synth, mean bass and unconventional rhythms, “Rubber Bass” slows down but holds the groove with it’s scratchy percussion and spooky pads, Jimmima demonstrates floor rocking trax needn’t be one dimensional and rounding things off “Mood” just oozes pure emotion. Four trax straight from the true heart of the Englander abroad, driving things forward whilst still maintaining the original spirit of techno.
