sound dropouts in ableton

i've noticed split second dropouts in ableton when i'm recording.

using a p4 3ghz with 1gb of ram, audiophile usb card set on a medium latency, a novation remote and a uc33. audiophile buffer in ableton is set to nearly 100 and theres still drop outs? this seems a little strange to me, any ideas?

seem to have this sorted... change my audio drivers in ableton from asio to audiophile's own. problem sorted.
