cheers traxx, just checked out the website

to have your egotistocal resident/promotor named 1st on the flyer and technasia billed 4th says it all. Somehow i imagine it being a dj set from sielging and one which will be lost on alot of the crowd, shame really.

Yup pointless really. All house then technasia ???????? ok...

haha, you can see the promotor's sweating when the heard voodoo had UR playing and suddenly trying to pull in some extra crowd by putting on a top techno name. It's probably gonna work against them which is a shame because siegling is a top bloke and probably doesn't realise what he's let himself in for

just hope he's got his matching t-shirt and scarf ready for the fashion parade

actually the two acts one the top of the flyer are both big names in house music
yousef has been around for ages and was originally a winner of a radio one dj competition if i'm not mistaken many moons ago

murk is from the funky green dogs again a very big house name

but i have to admit
it still looks crap

a tad unfair maybe, Circus isnt my kind of night although Yousef is anything but egotistical, he's a sound, down to earth bloke, one of the only level headed promoters in Liverpool id say to be honest. Il be at Voodoo that night regardless

No doubt he is a sound bloke Scott and i've nothing against the music he plays. He's a damn fine dj and perhaps I was a wee bit OTT on the description of Yousef but he is the resident and promotor of the night so I find it strange to see a flyer with the residents name ahead of the guests.

thanks for the info on murk dave, never heard of the guy but heard of the funky green dogs.

Would have been good to see them (or just Siegling) play in Liverpool, but once again Circus try to make a techno booking and feck it up!!!

Oh when will they learn!!! :)

Didnt Jeff Mills have to cut his set short there before ? Something to do with the crowd not liking techno ?

Had the pleasure of seeing them a couple of times. Really great I must say. Not really techno all the way but nevertheless they were awesome.
