is pro tools gonna be ok on pc? anybody use it on pc???

apparently it's ok - but stuff seems to come out on the Mac first and there are slightly fewer plugins available for the PC. Digidesign have online forums which might be a good place to ask this question, click on the 'support link' then 'user conference' on their site...

yeah im gaggin for pro tools, im gonna multitrack into it from me mackie and have total control over all my audio after ive finished having total control of all my midi... gonna ruuuule

somebody told me the 002 works even better with the new logic than it does with protools....

but since i have never used protools i have no basis for comparison..

Yeah, i've used pro-tools for mac and pc and I find it the same, just the key commands might be a bit different. But in the recording industry, mostly everyone says PT for mac is the best, but who cares what they think, you buy what you want and what you can use.
