Does anyone else get this?
When increasing the EQ's on the above mixer, it is nice and gentle until you get up to full and then it seems to jump a lot higher, and the EQ doesnt seem to give a smooth increase?

Yep they r quite logaritmic instead of smooth linear like... the 600 is better on this .. and the 3000 even slightly better than 600... :(

ive not noticed this, ill inspect tommorow.
ive been quite happy with my 500's eq upto now though although i dont boost eq very far. i usually go no further than 1 oclock on the hi's. mid just a little before and only boost the lows on some of the weaker tracks i own.

Just becomes a nightmare if you wanna whack up the mids high on the last 4 beats of the 4th phase, it just seems to pop as soon as you get near the enbd of the rotation of the EQ

yah sincs, i see what u mean now.
not so bad in the home but itd be a lot more apparent through a club system.
still luv my 500 though 8)
my mate bought a roland dj2000 a month before i got my pioneer and all the faders/eq's had died and were crackling and the crossfader was f00ked, he sent it back and they replaced faders for him and he bought a new crossfader and 1-2 months down the line they had all died again, hes still got it adnd its basically a box that makes crackling noises over your records now.
he paid 900 for it too :?
ive had my dj500 for over 2 years now and the crossfader is still perfect, and all faders/eq's mint too.
i paid less then half the price then my mate did.
